Role overview
Scholastic is seeking an experienced Turret Truck Operator for a casual, on-call role at our Lisarow Distribution Centre. This position involves working within our bulk warehouse to assist in picking stock for incoming orders and maintaining accurate stock control. We are looking for a true team player with high energy levels, capable of delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines. This role is for the afternoon shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Due to the demanding nature of this role, experienced operators are required.
Responsibilities
- Pick stock for incoming orders within the bulk warehouse.
- Maintain accurate stock control.
- Operate a turret truck efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- Possess a current LO Licence.
- Have recent experience operating a turret truck.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Experience using an RF scanner within a warehouse setting.
- Demonstrate a strong focus on warehouse and forklift safety.
- Reliability and own transportation to and from work.
