We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our market-leading team and work on some of the largest engineering projects across Tasmania.

In this role, reporting to the Program Manager, you will have a proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects. You will be accountable for supporting and delivering assigned projects, ensuring their objectives are achieved on time and within budget. Using your skills and technical knowledge, you will support and manage a variety of projects, prioritising resources across your portfolio. You will develop and manage key stakeholder relationships and engagement to provide timely updates and promptly resolve project issues. You will meet the milestones and time constraints of the projects, maintaining an up-to-date schedule with milestones, work breakdown structure, and tasks, raising cost variations for approval by the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver assigned projects, ensuring objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Manage a variety of projects, prioritising resources across your portfolio.
  • Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships and engagement.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Promptly resolve project issues.
  • Meet project milestones and time constraints.
  • Maintain an up-to-date schedule with milestones and work breakdown structure.
  • Raise cost variations for customer approval.

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV or Diploma of Project Management or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, ideally within automation/electrical engineering.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of good project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Accreditation with the Australian Institute of Project Management or Project Management Institute is desirable.
  • Current unrestricted Australian Work Rights.
