Job Description

Role overview

We are looking for a Chinese-speaking Pure Product Specialist to join our Global Pure Support Team. Your role will be centered around providing fast and accurate responses to clients to solve the challenges they may encounter. To support our clients, we also produce webinars and other types of internal and external documentation.

The Pure Support Team is part of a global team based in Denmark, Americas, Korea, Japan, and Singapore. The general responsibility of the Pure Support team is to provide enterprise-level support to customer Pure administrators and system owners. Pure is the growing market leader for university research management systems, used by 600+ research institutions in 50 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Joining an entrepreneurial, but global team.
  • Taking responsibility, building knowledge every day, and understanding client needs.
  • Providing complex support to a demanding audience, primarily in writing with relatively few phone calls and video meetings.
  • Participating in and driving ad-hoc projects within client services tooling, quality control, and other areas relating to the actual support effort.

Requirements

  • Native Chinese/Mandarin speaker with a very strong command of English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Passion and persistence for helping people and solving complex problems.
  • Experience as an IT Supporter or other IT profile is an advantage.
  • Experience in information/content management and flows, e.g., as a librarian, technical writer, data processor, or other, is also a potential entry point. We are open to hiring with little or low relevant experience, for example, if you have recently finished your education.
  • Curiosity and a fast learning ability, with a strong drive to understand how things work.
  • Experience in analyzing customer requests to determine underlying needs, gather the right answers, and provide them in a friendly and professional way.
  • Experience in developing partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to get things done in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Skill in simplifying complex environments.
  • Experience in problem-solving (structured thinking, analytical, brainy).
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
