Role overview

With an exciting pipeline of new publishing launching this year, our Primary Sales team is expanding! We’re now looking for a passionate, driven, and customer-focused Primary Sales Consultant to help us bring our market-leading Primary resources to even more schools across Australia. The role will be based at our Docklands Head Office, supporting Regional Victoria, Tasmania, and the Northern Territory.

You’ll receive all the training and support required to be successful in the role, including a detailed four-week induction program, ongoing mentoring and coaching, and the guidance of an experienced and highly supportive team every step of the way! Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and celebrate your wins
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities with both new and existing school customers
  • Deliver compelling product presentations through virtual school meetings with school leaders and phone consultations
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers in primary schools
  • Maintain accurate and insightful customer information using our CRM systems
  • Contribute to and execute our sales strategy, aligning your territory’s priorities with broader business goals

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience or phone-based sales success
  • A customer-first mindset and genuine passion for education
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar
  • A tertiary qualification (advantageous but not essential)
