SAGE & Co. is expanding and seeking a skilled, autonomous accountant to take complete ownership of a dedicated portfolio of US clients. This role involves direct client communication, managing end-to-end accounting workflows, and navigating specialized proprietary systems. Responsibilities

  • Independent Client Management: Take direct ownership of major US client portfolios, acting as the primary point of contact for accounts.
  • End-to-End Accounting: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance using cloud software.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare accurate, timely monthly and quarterly financial management reports to help clients make informed business decisions.
  • Software Adaptability: Work fluently across standard platforms and quickly master custom, client-specific proprietary software and workflows.

Requirements

  • Software Proficiency: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Xero and Zoho Books is mandatory.
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills: Must be highly proficient in data manipulation and reporting using functions like VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, and Pivot Tables.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of US accounting principles, bookkeeping standards, and financial reporting structure.
